Finally, a back office built for schools like yours. Financial tools, student tracking, and an AI coach that helps you see trouble before it hits.

Last summer we met over 100 school founders. Passionate people who'd quit careers, invested savings, and signed personal guarantees to open schools. Many of them didn't have the tools to see where their financial health was headed or how much cash runway they had. Accounting platforms tell you the past and the present, but they don't forecast. And without enrollment data, expense management, and contract tracking, to name a few, they don't tell the whole story. We wake up every day thinking about this.
We believe small school founders need three things working together: financial clarity, student management, and a guide who helps make sense of it all. Here's our current approach. We're testing it with real schools and iterating based on what we learn.
Tuition tracking, expense categorization, cash flow forecasting, and budget tools, designed for how small schools actually handle money.
Enrollment, attendance, family communication, and compliance documentation, connected instead of scattered across multiple apps.
Think of Hank as the finance-savvy colleague you wish you had. He explains your numbers in plain English, flags concerns before they become emergencies, and coaches you through decisions, so you can spend your energy on students.
Financial Management currently integrates with QuickBooks Online as the accounting platform.
SchoolStack is being built alongside real school founders, testing ideas early and following what we learn. We take a Lean Impact approach: every feature starts as a hypothesis, gets tested with real schools, and earns its place by actually making founders' lives better.
We'd rather learn fast than launch perfect. If something helps you see June's financial picture in December, it stays. If it doesn't, we rework it.
This is a long game. We're here to figure out what it actually takes for early-stage school founders to build resilient programs where children flourish. That's the mission. Everything else is a tool in service of it.
Answer a few simple questions. We personalize everything from your school profile.
Link your bank, payment processor, or just start entering data manually. Your choice.
Automated categorization, compliance tracking, and AI insights, so you can get back to why you started your school.
We're looking for school founders who want to build this with us. Thought partners who'll tell us what's working, what's missing, and what would actually change their Monday morning. If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.
No cost, no commitment. We'll reach out when the alpha is ready.
Thank you for your interest in SchoolStack. We'll reach out as soon as our alpha is ready for early testers. In the meantime, feel free to reach out at allison@schoolstack.ai.
SchoolStack.ai is powered by Building Hope Impact Fund, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to strengthening the infrastructure that small schools and K-12 programs depend on. We believe every school, regardless of size, deserves access to the same operational tools as large districts.

During our testing phase, yes. We're funded by philanthropic partners so we can focus on getting this right, with pricing kept accessible for the schools that need it most.
Our initial integrations connect with QuickBooks Online. We're exploring additional accounting platforms based on what our founders use. Let us know what you need.
We're actively testing with a small group of schools. Sign up and we'll reach out as spots open up.
Yes. We're building with enterprise-grade security standards including SOC 2 and FERPA compliance, because school data demands that level of care.
